Take A Stand!
Standing for at least 30 minutes per day is an important part of exercise after SCI. See how Mike Hurlock (C4 Quadriplegic) uses an FES Bike and Standing Frame. For more information on the benefits of standing, see Mason Ellis's article at www.spinalcord.com. #morethanwalking #spinalcordinjury
Check out this simple method by YouTuber Christian Cudo. 1 - Place a thick board over a normal scale. 2 - Pop a wheelie on top of the board, or roll your rear wheels ontop and have someone tilt you backwards. 3 - Record your total weight and subtract the weight of your wheelchair to find your body weight. #morethanwalking #spinalcordinjury
